As a seasoned Squarespace Developer, I've always relied on word-of-mouth and platforms like Upwork to attract clients. Blogging was never my main focus—until I realized the untapped potential it held for my online presence.
My initial attempts at blogging were less than stellar; the keywords scattered across my pages didn't quite resonate with my business. It was clear: Squarespace SEO was my Achilles' heel. That's when I turned to SEOSpace for help. What I found was a sobering reality—over 40 of my pages (most of them are over a year old) were invisible to Google!

Day 0 - Apr 17: Mending the Broken
Armed with SEOSpace's insightful recommendations—missing alt text, meta tags, and H1 titles—I set out to fix the broken pages. Submitting these refined pages to Google via the Search Console, I also realized I had overlooked submitting my sitemap.xml. It was a challenging process, but one I was determined to master. I finished the day by exceed the Request quota on GSC :)
Day 1 - Apr 18: A Surprising Revelation
After subscribing to Semrush Position Tracking, I awoke to find an email that left me in disbelief—a keyword had leaped up to the 20th position! Was it sheer luck or the start of something more?
A subsequent SEOSpace scan showed a decrease in unindexed pages to 27, a sign of Google's swift indexing.

Day 2 - Apr 19: Ascending the SEO Ladder
More good news followed as Semrush reported changes in keyword rankings, with two more climbing the ranks. It was becoming clear that this wasn't just a stroke of luck, the Squarespace SEO optimisation practices have helped. Climbing from the bottom towards the middle was proving easier than I anticipated, but the real challenge lay ahead: breaking into page 1.
